Data protection

Using the tool online:

This tool is designed for internal purposes of the users only. No free text data entered will be available to any third person at any time.

We gather, aggregate, and statistically exploit choice box entries only. This information does not contain anything that can identify users personally or the nature or development stage of applications assessed. Furthermore, German law (where the server is located) forbids the tracking of IP addresses.

Any free text inserted into the comment boxes (including name of application, name of reference application, reasons for answers selected) is safely stored on the server and deleted upon finalisation (download of the results as PDF).

Downloading the content for offline use:

Users not willing to enter any information online or aiming to simply get an overview of relevant ethical, legal or societal aspects (e.g. for educational purposes) can download the questions as a PDF file. However, the offline PDF version does not provide any functionality such as the automated summary of results.
