6.3.1 Definition

This subchapter describes nanotechnological methods to clean wastewater and process water from housholds and industries. Wastewater is any water which was used for industrial processes, in households or offices and is thereafter treated in a wastewater treatment plant before released into the environment. Wastewater does not include water (e.g. groundwater, surfacewater etc.) which was unintentionally contaminated.
